..News Flash...
Kermit the Frog here... just kidding - but anyone remember Kermit doing the news on the Muppet Show?
Anyway........back to the news..... the suspense is killing you...huh? huh?
My parents are moving to Tyler!!! May not seem too exciting to you, but for us its GREAT!!! Emily will actually be able to spend time with them. It won't be 9-12 hrs to go see them. Under 4!! I'm hoping they will keep her like once a month or so. I'm so excited! Plus I will actually get to hang out with them on a regular basis. Not 8 days straight ever 3-4 months and that's usually just my mom.
Plus my parents hate NM - so they are thrilled to be moving :)
My dad is changing jobs. He'll be working with my brother in law - won't that just be cozy - lol ! :)

Now its time for lunch - Emily has declared that she is hungry!

:) Hopefully I will have great news to share in the next day or so. I haven't been given clearance to tell the world yet. :)
In other news, had a great 8 days with my mom. Got alot accomplished and Aaron and I even went out to dinner one night. Mom went home Sat and Sun we hung with Tom, Kristi, and Hayden all day. Little Emily took the longest nap yesterday. Poor kiddo - just worn out from a week with Granny. She still only has the two bottom teeth. I swear it looks like another bottom one is coming but you can't feel it.
Last week I got Emily enrolled in MDO. They haven't told me what day yet - but honestly I could care less. I'm just so excited that we made the step. It will be one day a week and then maybe after she's two we will bump it up to two days a week.It doesn't start until Sept - crazy that you have to enroll 6 months in advance!! Everyone acts like its a big scramble to get a spot - but the lady let me register a day early :)
Roger and Shirley come next week. They are going to keep Emily for a couple of nights while Aaron and I take a little trip for his birthday #35 :) I got a GREAT deal on hotwire.com I was nervous at first because its one of those that you don't know the name of the hotel until you pay - but it turned out great. I'm excited for a little weekend getaway. :)
Took the week off from 5k training while mom was here - must train today!!!...since mom isn't here I don't have an excuse - just lacking motivation today.

WHAT is going on?
So here's the scoop I have eluded to with a few of you.....
Craziest 48 hrs ever!!! Monday morning Aaron went to work to be informed that his office would be closed at the end of the month! AAHHHH! WHAT? By the next morning there were rumors that minds had changed and maybe that didn't include Aaron and one other guy. As of lunch today we are safe. He doesn't have an office, but will hopefully office at his brother's place since he does a lot of work for them any way. Working from home is not really an option. We have a great houseplan but our office is open - no door to close and pretend he's gone to work. Anyway we are starting to feel a little better but definitely not secure. We will still be in the save every penny mode for a while - just in case somebody changes their mind again.
So I called my parents to tell them and they inform me that one of their Roth IRAs had been cleaned out. How this is even possible who knows. My parents seem to get hit a lot. Last month someone in Romania used their credit card number at an ATM for almost $1000. Needless to say their is an investigation now.
I also talked to Trish that day. She had come home from school to a house filled with gas.
And my sister in law wrote that she was stuck in the Newark Airport.
OMG!! I just want to scream. What is going on? Aaron and I just want some down time where nothing major is happening. I would love to be bored for a while.
On the brighter side my mom is coming for a visit - 8 days!!
We should have a lot of fun. I hope we get to the beach one day - maybe have a little seafood. :)
Today Emily and I went to the mommy group meeting at the gymnastics place. She couldn't really do anything but loved climbing on stuff and jumping on the mats. She took an amazing nap -- so amazing I got one too!!! Now I think we are going to take Allie to the park. Beautiful day here!
Hope everyone is having a much calmer week than we are.
Oh yeah we also celebrated our 8th anniversary this week :) Told ya its been a crazy roller coaster of a week.

The flu strikes......
Friday is here again. I was excited last night. This week flew by and now its time for another weekend!!! and now Aaron is sick :( I think its the flu - he has chills and is achy. Doesn't he know to be sick on Monday? and miss work not a weekend? Poor guy. Now I've got to keep it to him and hopefully not catch it myself or let Emily get it. She atleast did get a flu shot so maybe just maybe she is protected. Her week has been pretty hard - little sleep and lots of whining from the teeth. I think wed. she started getting some relief, as long as I keep the motrin and tylenol in her.
So much for a fun filled weekend - but keep your fingers crossed, maybe its just a 24 hr thing -- maybe?!
Did my 5K training this week. Wed was hard. I don't know why - it was the same workout as Monday. Hopefully today won't be too bad. :)
Aaron and I are getting a weekend getaway in a couple of weeks. His aunt and uncle will come keep Emily. I bought the tickets for the concert we are seeing - this morning. I'm so excited. Not the best tickets but the place is pretty small so I don't think they will be bad. I can't wait!! Aaron will take Friday off and we will see the show and then Sat we can do whatever - no schedule...none!!! then Sunday we will head home. I hope Emily does well for them. I'm a little nervous, but not enough to keep me from going :)
Wed. night was Mom's night out. We had fun. One poor lady was hurting the next day. I'd only met her one other time - but this time she was so drunk, loud and obnoxious - something I'm sure I've never been! Anyway one lady used to cut hair - so we all got new do's !!! I was going to do it as a reward for training for 3 weeks - but who can pass up a free cut? and a good one at that!
Well I hope everyone has a great weekend (and a speedy recovery!) I guess to keep Emily from catching it I'll just have to take her shopping hehe :)
